We are dedicated to creating a world where animals are cherished as fellow beings, not seen as commodities. We believe compassion is our superpower.
We're here to provide support and education to anyone willing to
imagine a different way.
What would it look like if we stopped using animals?
The PAUW Project is a collaborative effort. We need the inspiration and power of ALL our collected ideas to power this amazing endeavor and achieve the outcome we all want - Peace for all beings.
Keep an eye out for our next scheduled event. We'll post them here but the best way to stay in touch is to subscribe to our newsletter and click the button below to join the Vegan Spirituality Group of Philadelphia's MeetUp group.
Anne & Suzanne happily offer their expertise in mental health and their unwavering commitment, mostly for free. But they can sure use YOUR support to cover the costs of hosting meetings, running websites, and doing what it takes to help us all move toward a Post-Animal-Use World.

SUZANNE'S THOUGHTS ON JOHN'S WORK
This month’s featured visionary is someone I met through a podcast last week: John Sanbonmatsu He is a professor of philosophy, author of The Omnivore’s Deception, and an unapologetic animal rights advocate. The focus for me is on ‘unapologetic’!
Early in the interview with Rev. Carol Saunders, John remarks on his admiration for Karen Davis - founder of United Poultry Concerns. When explaining why she stood out to him among the many others he admires, he said: ‘She spoke truth to power, was fearless, single minded, and unapologetic’.
Bam, it hit me. Why do I feel apologetic when I eat with family and friends, eschewing chicken, pork, steak, cheese and ice cream? Why do I bow my head silently praying for the lost lives when I want to shout: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!? Why am I not more assertive in my advocacy? Why am I not fearless when I know I have the moral high ground?
The answers to these questions are personal, so irrelevant in this context, however, it was an aha moment for me. Perhaps it will be for you.
The interview is lengthy, but has many more gems. I took pages of notes while listening. I encourage you to listen. It will inspire, explicate, and educate, even if you are a long time vegan and activist.
Here's where we'll share your visions of a post animal use world and our essays on related topics. We welcome your feedback which you can provide via email or contact page.
Happy Reading!
